DL Skateboards

(An update: I'm in the midst of a pretty big life transition right now, and I have lots of ideas and lots of things to say, but I'm just not quite there yet. So in lieu of new posts, I'm going back and publishing some posts that have been sitting in my drafts folder for far too long. New content will be up and running soon!)

One of my favorite things about Los Angeles is the random projects that people are involved in on a daily basis. I have so many friends pursuing so many different paths in so many different industries that it can be hard to keep track of them all. My friend Ali is an incredibly talented filmmaker and director, and he invited me to come along on one of his shoots to do some behind-the-scenes photography for him. The crew at DL Skateboards was a welcoming bunch of skaters and life-lovers, and I had a ridiculously amazing day getting windburned in the bright sunshine of Jawbone Canyon with them. I even ended up getting recruited to be IN the video, since one of their friends wasn't able to make it. I won't be adding Actress to my resume any time soon, but I still had a lot of fun. Check out the final video below and see if you can spot me =]
