Lately I have been on a mission to expand my vocabulary. I'd like to think I have a pretty decent grasp of the English language, but there's always more to learn. I signed up for a Word of the Day email that I've really enjoyed (http://wordsmith.org/), and I've started looking up words that I see and don't know the meaning of while I'm reading. And now, thanks to my fellow blogger Shoko, I'm addicted to a web site called Otherwordly

The words that can be found on Otherwordly are not your run-of-the-mill vernacular; often, they are words in different languages that express very specific and unique ideas. I'd love to start incorporating some of these into my daily life. Here are some of my favorites thus far (I've spent quite a lot of time perusing this web site since I first read Shoko's post).

Are you not overwhelmed with happiness that this site exists? If you have even the slightest appreciation for words and language, I promise you will love every page.

Happy Thursday!
