We went to Saratoga for Toby's cousin's wedding about, oh, a million weeks ago, so naturally I'm getting around to posting photos from the weekend right now! I was excited for this trip, because upstate New York is somewhere I'd never even thought about visiting, so I didn't know what to expect. I was hoping there would be a little more color to trees, but it was fairly early in September when we went, so we missed out on the famous east coast fall foliage. It was, however, still gorgeous - green, green and more green for miles. Saratoga itself was adorable; quaint, old and full of fun architecture and parks. We got a lot of walking done, around Lake George and throughout the quiet, historic streets of the town. It's definitely a place I'd like to return to for the sole purpose of wandering and taking photos. Let's be real, though: I'd like the chance to do that with most places I visit. Meanwhile, I do the best I can with the time I have.
